Job Duties

1. Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods, and supplies in a timely, safe, and efficient manner using effective scan/load methods.
2. May occasionally operate DOT-sized vehicles.
3. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, including stacking packages above head if required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Successfully complete all basic and recurrency training.
• Effective communication skills, even in noisy environments.

Requires medical examination per FMCSA or FAA regulations and must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of FMCSA regulations. Refer to Policy 4-48 for specific job requirements.

Pay Transparency

$18.06 per hour. Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license for the past 3 years, with no suspensions.
