Job summary

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. ( TPMG ) in Sacramento area is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our collegial medical team. You will practice upper-extremity surgery with hand/elbow/shoulder specialization in a supportive TPMG environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility is required for practice in CA.
• Eligibility to obtain a CA medical license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform fellowship-trained hand/upper-extremity surgery (hand/elbow/shoulder) as part of a collaborative team.
• Work with Physician Assistants and Surgical Assistants to coordinate outpatient and surgical care.
• Maintain and improve OR scheduling, aiming for ~2 days per week of OR time.
• Participate in a Level 2 trauma call schedule (~1 in 9) and allocation of trauma cases.
