Job summary

Harborview Medical Center's Orthopedic Hand Clinic is seeking a full-time ARNP or PA-C to join the Hand Clinic team in Seattle. The role involves outpatient care with pre- and postoperative evaluations and collaboration with plastics, infectious disease, and pain services.

The position offers a 40-hour workweek, day shift, and opportunities for career growth. The ideal candidate holds a Master's in nursing, WA ARNP or PA license with NCCPA, national NP certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required.
• WA ARNP license with prescriptive privileges is required.
• National certification as NP is required.
• RN license in WA is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• PA licensure in WA with NCCPA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Triage upper extremity injuries to determine need for surgical or non-operative management.
• Perform pre-operative and postoperative evaluation in a high-volume outpatient clinic.
• Coordinate with infectious disease, plastics, and pain services.
• Function as expert practitioner, educator, and researcher within upper extremity trauma and plastics reconstruction.

Education

Master’s Degree in nursing

Washington Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges

National certification as a Nurse Practitioner

RN license in Washington State

BLS certification

Physician Assistant licensure in Washington

National certification from NCCPA
