Job summary
Harborview Medical Center's Orthopedic Hand Clinic is seeking an ARNP, Nurse Practitioner, or PA-C for a full-time position in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on high-volume outpatient care, including pre-operative and postoperative evaluations, and collaboration with plastic surgery and related services.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's in nursing, WA ARNP or PA license with prescriptive privileges, and NP/PA national certification, plus BLS.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in nursing and applicable WA licensure or PA licensure.
- Board certification as NP or PA and prescriptive privileges.
- Eligibility for hospital staff appointments under Medical Staff By-Laws.
- BLS certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Function in a high-volume outpatient Hand Clinic with pre-op and post-op evaluations.
- Support patient needs after trauma or reconstructive surgery.
- Triage injuries to determine surgical vs non-operative management.
- Collaborate with infectious disease, plastics, and pain services.
- Act as expert practitioner, educator and consultant in upper extremity care.
