Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) in Westmont, IL is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist with hand therapy experience to join our orthopedic clinic team. The therapist will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, fabricate or dispense orthotics, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to achieve optimal function.

IBJI offers a competitive compensation package including strong base salary, annual bonuses up to $11,500, a $2,000/year CE stipend, generous PTO, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Out-patient Hand Therapy experience.
• Experience with custom orthotics/splinting.
• Ability to multitask and be a team player.
• Interest in working with all types of patients including athletes.
• Open and excited to learn new skills and grow as clinician.
• Collaborate and build relationships with onsite and offsite physicians.
• Involvement in professional development and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial evaluations and establishes treatment plans with functional goals.
• Fabricates or dispenses upper extremity orthotics.
• Completes documentation (Initial Evaluation, Progress/Discharge) for physicians.
• Upgrades treatment goals and determines discharge timing.
• Communicates with physicians and team members to maximize outcomes.
• Supervises Rehabilitation Technicians and assists with supplies.
• Develops relationships with physicians to promote IBJI services.
