Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy from an accredited US university.
• 2+ years of OT/PT experience with hand therapy; CH Therapist designation preferred.
• CA OT/PT licensure or national certification; knowledge of Medicare docs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluation, set functional goals with timelines, and involve patient/caregiver.
• Document treatments accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Fabricate and adjust static/dynamic hand splints (carpometacarpal, cock-up, resting).
• Educate patients, supervise PTAs, aides, students and volunteers as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, department initiatives, and daily scheduling.
• Adhere to hospital safety, quality, and documentation standards.
