Job summary

California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (Hand Therapist preferred) for our outpatient ortho clinics across the LA area. This per diem/part-time role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to impact patients’ daily living skills.

Join a team using ambient listening tech integrated into EMR to streamline documentation, with competitive pay about $40–$55 per hour plus incentives based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Clinical or rehab setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy plans.
• Implement OT treatments including therapeutic exercises, ADL training and adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies to maximize independence.
• Document evaluations, progress and treatment plans accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Adhere to ethical, legal and professional standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and support caseload needs.

About The Role

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing occupational therapy programs to help patients develop or regain daily living skills. Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Meet needs of patient executing Plan of Care, including follow?up for noncompliance.
• Be a team player utilizing nonclinical staff to support caseload needs.
• Delegate to COTA as appropriate.
• Drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision.
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily workflow.
• Stay updated on advancements in occupational therapy techniques and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred
