Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Hand Therapist (licensed Occupational Therapist with CHT) to provide advanced upper-extremity rehabilitation, evaluation, and individualized treatment planning. You will fabricate orthoses, monitor progress, and educate patients and families within a collaborative care team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and hands-on manual therapy to optimize functional recovery.

Qualifications

• ND OT license required or in good standing.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• CHT preferred (Certified Hand Therapist).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of upper extremity impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Fabricate, fit, modify, and instruct on custom orthoses.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, recovery expectations, and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation.
