Regional Hand Center in California's Central Valley seeks a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team of upper extremity care specialists. The PA will provide comprehensive healthcare under the supervision of our surgeons, handling assessments, pre- and post‑operative care, and patient education to ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a CA PA license, NCCPA certification, and a master’s degree, with at least two years in orthopedics/hand surgery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited PA program required
• California PA licensure required
• NCCPA certification required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in orthopedics/hand surgery preferred
• Strong clinical skills with ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in EMR systems
• Commitment to compassionate, patient‑focused care

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, histories, physicals, and order diagnostic tests
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre‑ and post‑operative care
• Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient‑centered care
• Perform injections, suturing, and wound care
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment options
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations
• Assist in managing patient flow within the clinic to ensure efficient service delivery
