Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking a hand surgeon to join us on-site in Bakersfield as a 1099 independent contractor. The typical arrangement features a ~4-hour shift, weekly or biweekly, designed to complement your private practice.

You will perform both non-surgical and surgical management of orthopaedic injuries and coordinate case management with employers and therapy teams. You will work collaboratively with medical staff to expedite return-to-work and functional restoration, with compensation

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hand Surgery.
• Unrestricted DEA license is required for state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site for a ~4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.
• Provide non-surgical and surgical care for hand/upper-extremity injuries.
• Engage in case management and communicate with employers and therapy providers.
