Job summary

Staffmark in Lynchburg, OH is seeking a Hand Soldering Associate to join our manufacturing team. You will hand solder components, inspect joints, and read basic drawings while maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

The role requires at least 1 year of hand soldering experience, strong attention to detail, and reliable attendance. Shift is 7:00 AM–4:30 PM with competitive pay and benefits.

Now hiring for a Hand Soldering Associate
Location: Lynchburg, OH
Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Shift: 7 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Duties

  • Perform hand soldering of electronic components and assemblies according to work instructions and quality standards
  • Inspect solder joints to ensure proper connection, alignment, and workmanship
  • Read and interpret basic assembly drawings, schematics, and instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with safety standards
  • Follow all company quality, safety, and production procedures
  • Perform additional assembly or production tasks as assigned

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Ability to produce consistent, high-quality solder connections
  • Minimum one (1) year of hand soldering experience required
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Hand Soldering Associate.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
