Ducommun, Inc. is seeking a Hand Solderer for Surface Mount Devices (SMD) to manually place and solder miniature components onto PCBs. The role requires precision, micromechanisms, and experience with microscopes, tweezers, and micro-soldering irons.

The ideal candidate will hold a J-STD-001 Class III solder certification, be capable of reading complex schematics, and work independently in a clean, climate-controlled environment with competitive pay and benefits in Carson, California.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
• J-STD-001 Class III Solder Certification required.
• Experience in manufacturing and electronics soldering.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Work under a microscope with high precision.
• Solder and assemble complex sub-assemblies.
• Follow established procedures and review shop travelers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and rework as needed.
