Job summary

Bachoco Group is seeking a Hand Portioner for the Albertville plant II on the 2nd shift (4:00 pm – 1:00 am). The role involves hand portioning chicken products to customer specifications using a knife and ensuring proper handling in a cold environment.

Qualified candidates should be able to stand for long periods, withstand high-noise conditions, and pass background screening as required. The position offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Able to work in a cold/wet environment (45°F, 4°C).
• Exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2 and moving equipment.
• Background screenings may be conducted as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Uses a knife to cut boneless raw products into customer-specified piece sizes.
• Manually manipulate chicken breasts and tenders to maximize yield.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to work in a cold/wet environment. (45 degrees Fahrenheit, 4 degrees Celsius)
