Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Columbus, OH is seeking a friendly Ice Cream Specialist (Dip Clerk) for a part-time role (25 hours or less per week). You will make hand-dipped cones and shakes, greet guests, and maintain product displays and cleanliness.

The position requires basic English communication, cash handling, and the ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Pay ranges from $11.50 to $13.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, coupons and food stamps, and make change.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and to work in cold temperatures as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly and ensure they leave satisfied.
• Prepare DipSide items: shakes, malts, cones, cups and sundaes.
• Efficiently operate the POS system and gas console, handling transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves, dip cabinet, coffee pots and ice dispensers; rotate stock as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; assist with maintenance and proper temperature controls.
• Complete time records and other duties as assigned by management.
