Job summary

Scott Enterprise Hotels, Ambassador, and Corporate Divisions is seeking a maintenance technician for second shift on site. Responsibilities span plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and drywall repairs across hotel facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience in multiple crafts, ability to troubleshoot and read schematics, and a commitment to weekend availability and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.
• Minimum two years experience in electrical, plumbing and carpentry crafts.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and drywall maintenance.
• Repair and troubleshoot fixtures, outlets, switches and related equipment.
• Maintain safety practices and participate in the Safety Committee.

**SECOND SHIFT**

**WEEKEND AVAILABILITY A MUST**SUMMARY

This position supports the maintenance/repair needs of the hotel. Performs work involving multiple crafts, such as plumbing, painting and drywall, carpentry, electrical and water testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Plumbing functions include:

• Solder/braze
• Unplug toilet and drains
• Change bath and toilet fixtures
• Fix faucets

Drywall and painting functions include:

• Small repairs in walls and ceilings due to water damage.
• Must blend repairs with existing wall or ceiling fixtures.
• Minor painting of rooms, doors, trim and ceilings.

Carpentry functions include:

• Repair and fabricate chairs, tables, walls, floor, cabinetry, shelves etc.
• Must understand demonstrate correct use of hand and power tools. * Electrical functions include:
• Change outlets, wall switches, light fixtures, appliances, AC/p-tacs and related items.
• Must be able to trouble shoot, read schematics, and diagnose electrical equipment.
• Will work with voltages from 24v to 240 volt 3 phase and the correct use of meters and testing meters.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as part of preventive maintenance program.
• Repairs and maintains commercial laundry equipment.
• Participates on the Safety Committee.
• All other duties as assigned.
