Job summary

Hamilton for Kansas is hiring Regional Field Directors to manage voter contact and organizing operations across the great state of Kansas. Each RFD will supervise a team of Field Organizers, own their region’s numbers, and build the volunteer infrastructure needed to win.

These roles are a fit for people who have organized, have prior experience on campaigns, and are ready to manage. These roles report to the Organizing Director and require leadership of volunteers, along with a willingness to

Qualifications

• At least one cycle of field organizing on a political campaign.
• Experience mentoring or supervising organizers preferred.
• Proficiency with VAN/VoteBuilder and standard field tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate staff and volunteers.
• Familiarity with Kansas campaigns preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage voter contact and organizing operations within an assigned region of Kansas.
• Supervise Field Organizers within the assigned region, providing coaching, accountability, and support.
• Set and track weekly voter contact goals for the region, including door knocks, phone calls, and volunteer shifts.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteer leaders and teams within the region.
• Build relationships with local elected officials, community leaders, and organizations in the assigned region.
• Execute regional components of the campaign’s GOTV plan.
• Report regularly to the Deputy Field Director on progress, challenges, and resource needs.

Compensation

Compensation: $65,000
