Job summary

Hamilton Campaign Network in Buffalo, NY seeks experienced District Field Directors for targeted, competitive State Legislative races. The position is full-time and requires a car to drive; work runs from mid-August through the New York Primary in November.

Candidates should have campaign experience with supervisory responsibilities; training will be provided on our practices and program management. Staff will supervise organizers and canvassers, with additional healthcare support provided.

Qualifications

• Two cycles of campaign experience with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Familiar with Votebuilder and Google Workspace.
• Training provided on practices and program management protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervising organizers, volunteers, and paid canvassers in order to achieve program goals
• Creating a respectful and fun environment that campaign volunteers will want to return to
• Oversight and execution of recruitment, intake, training, and management of organizers and canvassers
• Providing canvassers with clear, quantitative goals and tracking progress
• Utilizing internal tracking systems in order to monitor workflow
• Quality controlling canvasser data
• Cutting turf

Job description

Hamilton Campaign Network seeks experienced District Field Directors for targeted, competitive State Legislative races in Buffalo, New York.

This position is a staff management position and two previous cycles of campaign experience with some supervisory responsibilities preferred. The Qualified candidates will be familiar with and comfortable working Votebuilder and Google Workspace suite. Training will be provided on our best practices & program management protocols. Our field programs are comprehensive, deliberate, and emphasize message training, so be prepared to learn and implement new practices in your management philosophy.

The geography of the district requires that a Field Director have a car and the ability to drive. This is a full time position that will run from Mid-August through the New York Primary in November. Staff will also receive priority for placement for our general election campaigns.

Salary is $6500/month salary +$700/month for Healthcare
