Job summary

The Food Hall Co. in Nashville, TN is looking for a Hall Security team member to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and the venue while upholding high service standards.

The role requires Friday and Saturday night availability, ability to stand long shifts, and lifting up to 50 lbs. English fluency is required; Spanish is a plus. CPR/First Aid and Peace Officer Training are preferred certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English; bilingual Spanish speaking a plus
• 2+ years of security experience is preferred
• Certifications in CPR- Red Cross, First Aid, and Peace Officer Training are preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Proficient in the use of security alarms and surveillance systems
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts: days, evenings, late nights, weekends, and various holidays

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
• Wear the proper uniform at all times (non-slip shoes required)
• Work collaboratively with coworkers
• Respond to any emergencies
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests, employees, and visitors
• Secure all doors, windows, and exits, depending on the shift
• Understand safety protocols and evacuation guidelines; apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before authorities arrive
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Maintain a command presence, vigilance, and awareness at all times
• Conduct post and equipment inspections and review current pass-along information
• Verify all persons' credentials and badges; ensure badge details match the person
• Report all unusual or suspicious activity to management; share during shift changes

Hall Security will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests, staff, and venue while constantly upholding high-level service and performance standards. They will consistently monitor guest behavior and ensure all venue rules are followed, including but not limited to crowd management, evacuation, conflict de-escalation, VIP escorts, state alcohol rule adherence, and guest check-ins.

• Must have current TN Unarmed security licenses and be in compliance with "DALLAS LAW" requirements. All license requirements MUST be met prior to the HIRE DATE.
