Job summary

Baltimore City Public Schools is seeking a staff member to assist in maintaining a safe school environment under the direction of school-based administration. Responsibilities include monitoring student activity in halls, building interior and exterior premises, and supporting take-in/dismissal procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must pass drug test, background record investigation and federal, state and local fingerprint checks
• Ability to communicate effectively with school personnel and students
• Ability to effectively interact with school personnel and students
• Ability to respond to emergency situations while maintaining composure and demonstrating appropriate professionalism and restraint at all times
• Ability to climb stairs, stand and walk for long periods of time

Preferred:
