Job summary

Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, OH, is seeking an Assistant Clinical Manager for Critical Care (CC-E) to help oversee daily operations of the 24-bed CC unit. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, staff development, and collaboration with the Clinical Manager to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with an Ohio license, a bachelor's degree preferred, and at least three years of acute care experience, including leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPR, BLS & ACLS required.
• Three years of clinical experience in an acute care setting with at least one year in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight of daily operations of the assigned department.
• Coordinate activities to promote clinically effective and efficient patient care.
• Collaborate with the clinical manager on hiring, training, performance management, and staff evaluation.
• Provide leadership in safeguarding patient safety and accountability.
