Job summary

Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care ICU. The CC-E unit cares for medical and surgical critical patients; this role features a 24-bed unit with no call and no rotating shifts.

You will plan, provide, and direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and staff, and mentor new personnel while ensuring age-appropriate care per standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• CPR, BLS, ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• A professional caregiver who plans, provides, and directs patient care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders.
• He/she acts as a liaison between physicians, patient and family, and collaborates with other health care members.
• The staff nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups according to specific chronological age, developmental age, and/or psycho-social maturity.

REGISTERED NURSE CRITICAL CARE

CC-E is a 24 bed critical care unit caring for both medical and surgical critical patients. Experienced nurses are usually suited best for these openings, and the department is rarely able to take new grads. No call, no rotating shifts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing.
