Job summary

Chelsea Jewish Lifecare is seeking a Hairdresser for Cohen Florence Estates in Chelsea, MA. This part-time role (8 hours per week) offers a flexible schedule and an opportunity to provide hair care services to long-term care residents with professionalism.

Required are a MA Cosmetology license, liability insurance, English fluency, and at least 2 years’ hairdressing experience. You will maintain sanitation standards and keep service records. Tools supplied by you.

Qualifications

• Current and active Massachusetts Cosmetology License in good standing.
• Must carry personal professional liability insurance.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair care services including haircuts, styling, coloring, perms, shampooing, and grooming assistance for residents.
• Maintain a safe, clean salon environment by following infection control and hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, manage appointments, and ensure proper care of salon equipment.
