Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care, and recommend products and services. The Stylist delivers quality professional services with emphasis on the guest’s total look and supports the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager through a focus on performance, people, and process.

The role requires a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Previous salon experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for haircutting, coloring, styling, makeup, extensions, and related services.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, styling, extensions, makeup, and piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals for hair services and contribute to retail/service sales.
• Demonstrate business acumen and identify growth opportunities for the store.
• Demonstrate and upsell pro hair care and makeup products to guests.
