Ulta Beauty is seeking a stylist to engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. You will deliver high-quality professional services with a focus on the guest’s total look, supporting the Experience Manager and ASM through performance, people and process.

A passion for beauty and exceptional guest service is essential. The role involves staying informed on industry trends, performing diverse hair services, and contributing to a premier guest experience

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous salon experience preferred.
• Ability to perform hair design, color, styling, extensions, makeup and piercing (where applicable).
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, haircuts, color, texture, styling, updos, keratin treatments, extensions and makeup (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed sales goals and productivity for hair services and contribute to store sales, loyalty, and retail targets.
• Demonstrate business acumen with understanding of business drivers and growth opportunities.
• Demonstrate product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives that deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on trends, products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
