The role emphasizes teamwork with the Experience Manager and other staff, plus adherence to safety and store standards. Ideal candidates bring a cosmetology license and salon experience, with strong communication, selling skills and a passion for the beauty industry.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license to perform professional hair services.
• Previous salon experience preferred.
• Proficiency in haircutting, coloring, styling, extensions, makeup and ear piercing where applicable.
• Ability to demonstrate, recommend and sell pro hair care and makeup products.
• Developed communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, keratin, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services and contribute to store goals.
• Demonstrate business acumen and identify opportunities for growth.
• Demonstrate guest service and participate in events and promotions.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Develop guest relationships through consultations and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness and dress code; use booking systems.
