Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Stylist in New Jersey to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and deliver high-quality services with a focus on guest satisfaction and sales. The role supports EM and ASM in achieving service sales and productivity targets.

The position requires a cosmetology license and prior salon experience is preferred. You will work to build relationships, stay current with trends, and uphold safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Cosmetology license required.
Previous relevant salon experience preferred.
Strong hair design, color, and styling skills.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

Perform hair services including design, color, texture, styling, extensions, and makeup applications.
Meet or exceed weekly sales goals for hair services and contribute to retail and service sales.
Demonstrate business acumen and identify opportunities for growth.
Conduct product demonstrations to drive sales and enhance guest experience.
Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives for a top-tier guest experience.
Stay informed on trends, ingredients, and services to educate guests.
