Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist in New Jersey to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. The role emphasizes delivering quality services, driving sales, and contributing to an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced salon setting.

You will support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager, with a focus on performance, people, and process. A cosmetology license and prior salon experience are required.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques and products.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, perms, keratin, extensions, makeup and ear piercing (where applicable).
• Meet or exceed sales goals for hair services and contribute to store goals for retail and service sales and loyalty program metrics.
• Demonstrate and sell professional hair care and makeup products to guests.
• Support in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives for an exceptional guest experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
