Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is seeking a Certified Color Consultant to guide customers in hair color and color care, building loyalty and driving category growth in-store.

As a key member of Store Operations, you will provide expert color consultations, record sales in the POS, support team training, and uphold safety and loss prevention standards while delivering exceptional DIY customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ year retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Ability to translate training into customer service and explain product labels.
• Professional image and positive public interaction.
• Familiarity with iPad and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide an optimal customer experience to help DIY customers achieve hair color goals.
• Conduct color consultations and leverage selling skills to boost sales and loyalty.
• Record all sales in the POS and handle transactions accurately.
• Support planograms, back stock, shipments, and store housekeeping.
• Train and mentor associates, foster inclusivity, and collaborate with the Store Manager.
