Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is looking for a Certified Color Consultant to enhance customer experiences and drive hair color category sales in-store. You will consult on color, introduce related products, and support daily operations to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You will build relationships with DIY enthusiasts, provide professional advice, and contribute to achieving sales goals while upholding loss prevention and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ year of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management clearly and concisely.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Ability to execute product knowledge from training to support customer service.
• Ability to explain product labels.
• Follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Familiarity with iPad and navigating the internet and social media platforms.
• Present a professional image and interact positively with the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide an optimal customer experience to help DIY customers achieve hair color goals; introduce the Hair Color category and offer color consultations.
• Drive sales by cross-selling and building loyalty; contribute to increasing brand awareness and hair color market share.
• Record all sales in the POS; handle transactions, returns, exchanges; complete daily paperwork and reporting; assist with deposits as needed.
• Assist with back stock, price merchandise, shipment processing, and housekeeping; support planograms; may open/close the store.
• Maintain ongoing training; stay current on industry trends; be a continuous learner.
