Job summary

Synechron is seeking a highly motivated Big Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions for our clients in the Dallas area. You will collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical designs.

The role requires hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Spark Streaming, and NoSQL databases, plus proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python. We offer a competitive compensation package and global opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in Hadoop, Spark, and related technologies.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, and HBase.
  • Knowledge of data ingestion and processing using Spark Streaming and Flume.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

We are seeking a highly motivated Big Data Engineer to join our team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing big data solutions.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $115k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
