Job summary

Butterball LLC is seeking a supervisor to guide a day-to-day team focused on product attributes and quality to meet customer specifications. The role ensures food safety and regulatory compliance across HACCP and GMPs within Butterball’s production environment.

The position requires leadership experience, strong coaching skills, and a background in food manufacturing. It involves cross-functional collaboration, audits, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ year of leadership experience.
• Experience in a food environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities of entry level team members.
• Provides coaching and support to ensure task completion.
• Enforces policies and procedures and reviews timecards.
• Ensures adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards on the Plant floor(s).
• Coaches technicians and operations to ensure compliance with HACCP and GMPs.
• Develops and implements policies, process controls and monitoring procedures.
• Investigates issues and escalates as needed.
• Supports audits and daily SOP audits.
• Participates in investigations of product failures and customer complaints.
• Communicates with management to maintain process control.
• Identifies opportunities for plant process and product improvements.
• Maintains team technical expertise through training.
