You will interpret engineering drawings, select tooling, and optimize processes while maintaining safety and a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to program and set up HAAS CNC machines.
• Experience with 3-axis and 4-axis machining.
• Able to cut and prepare stock, including weldments requiring multiple operations.
• Strong proficiency with measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
• Solid understanding of machining practices, feeds/speeds, and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC milling machines (3-axis and 4-axis).
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM-generated toolpaths.
• Cut, prepare, and machine raw stock materials to specification.
• Perform multiple machining operations on complex parts and weldments.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding for each job.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, optimize cycle times, and improve processes as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
