Qualifications

• Aircraft piloting requires extensive flight experience and certifications.
• Minimum flight hour requirements include thousands of hours in rotorcraft with PIC and turbine experience.
• Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating are required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates pilot duty schedules with the Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Coordinates flight planning resources for mission support at the base.
• Conducts new-hire pilot orientations at the base.
• Manages aviation activities for public relations events and base operations.
• Reviews and submits monthly flight/duty logs in the required time frame.
• Monitors pilots and assists in day-to-day flight and administrative issues.
