Reports To: Superintendent & Assistant Superintendent

Supervises: N/A

Summary of Position

Operates, services, and repairs the varied components of irrigation and drainage systems and performs related task as required.

  • Waters greens, tees, :fairways and roughs;
  • Lays sod, grades and prepares soil base;
  • Operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water;
  • Performs repairs to the irrigation system and irrigation heads as needed;
  • Operates dump utility carts and other light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris;
  • Acts as Irrigation Specialist capacity during his/her absence;
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • High school diploma or GED; Working knowledge of basic electricity, hydraulics, and computer related to an irrigation system, including automatic valves and controllers, and various types of pumps and pumping systems. Practice two years golf seasons with knowledge of the game of golf.

Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.
