Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Worker to perform pre/post-operational checks, fueling, and maintenance on rotary-wing aircraft. You will secure aircraft, operate ground support equipment, and assist with launches and recoveries on site.

Strong safety discipline and ability to meet Navy standards are required. Two years of relevant helicopter maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to obtain facility credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of actual and recent aircraft maintenance experience on H-60s or equivalent rotary aircraft.
• Must have a valid Common Access Card (CAC) with Tier 3 adjudication or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required for tasks.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to obtain/maintain facility credentials.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Performs aircraft movement, fueling/defuel, tie down, and blade restraint installation/removal.
• Service aircraft/engines/transmissions and direct maintenance turns.
• Provide aircraft movement/direction and fire guard services during operations.
• Follow NATOPS procedures and local regulations in maintenance tasks.
• Launch/recover aircraft to support flight schedules; comply with safety standards.
