Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Gynecologic Surgeon to provide comprehensive gynecologic surgical care to female veterans, within the Surgery/Gynecology section.

The physician will be responsible for resident supervision where applicable and adherence to VA policies and clinical standards. Required qualifications include an MD, current unrestricted license in the United States, and board certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Board certification/eligibility preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform full range gynecologic surgical procedures (laparoscopy, robotic, hysteroscopy).
• Provide patient care in line with VA policies and standards.
• Supervise residents when applicable and ensure timely medical record documentation.
• Maintain clinic schedules and ensure ongoing professional development.
