Job summary

Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center is seeking a compassionate Surgical RN for our outpatient gynecologic oncology clinic in Eugene, OR. You will partner with providers to guide patients from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship, delivering education, coordination, and integrated support.

The RN will participate in care coordination, education delivery, breast clinic coverage as needed, and ongoing oncology nursing training, with a focus on compassionate,

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license; BSN preferred.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, chemotherapy, surgical care.
• Navigate patients through the continuum of cancer care and treatment planning.
• Provide pre- and post-operative education and support.
• Offer psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Coordinate with community resources and the care team.
• Additional duties as assigned.
