Job summary

Wellstar Vinings Health Park is seeking a fellowship-trained Gynecologic Oncologist to join a full-time team blending surgical and outpatient care. The position offers APP support, access to a broad Wellstar referral network, and opportunities for advanced procedures in a multidisciplinary setting.

Ideal candidates bring board certification in OB/GYN, Gynecologic Oncology fellowship, and licensure in Georgia, with several years of post-fellowship experience in oncologic care and robotic

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in OB/GYN.
• Fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Georgia medical licensure.
• Several years post-fellowship gynecologic oncology experience preferred.
• Experience with MIS and robotic surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for gynecologic cancers and complex conditions.
• Perform open, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with multidisciplinary oncology teams.
• Collaborate with APPs to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Participate in inpatient consultations and backup call responsibilities.
• Contribute to program growth, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Maintain timely documentation in EPIC.
