Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained Gynecologic Oncologist to join Wellstar Vinings Health Park. This full-time role combines surgical and outpatient clinical practice with APP support to deliver patient-centered cancer care.

The ideal candidate has a strong clinical background, exceptional surgical skills, and a commitment to comprehensive care for women with gynecologic malignancies. Georgia licensure is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Eligible for unrestricted GA medical licensure.
• Several years post-fellowship experience preferred.
• Experience with minimally invasive and robotic surgery preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for gynecologic cancers.
• Perform open, minimally invasive, and robotic surgical procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with APP for coordinated patient care.
• Participate in inpatient consultations and backup call.
• Contribute to program growth and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Maintain timely documentation in EPIC.
