Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained Gynecologic Oncologist to join the Wellstar Vinings Health Park team. The role combines surgical and outpatient clinical practice with dedicated APP support, enabling focused, patient-centered cancer care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent surgical skills, and a commitment to comprehensive care for women with gynecologic malignancies in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology required.
• Fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for gynecologic cancers and complex conditions.
• Perform open, minimally invasive, and robotic surgical procedures as appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with multidisciplinary oncology teams.
• Work closely with APP support to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Participate in inpatient consultations and backup call responsibilities.
• Contribute to program growth, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Maintain timely documentation in EPIC.
