Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgical APP for Charlotte, NC. The hybrid role combines first assist duties in advanced pelvic surgery with perioperative care in hospital and clinic settings, with a 40-hour week.

The requirements include NC PA/NP licensure, prescriptive authority and DEA license, BLS, and at least 1 year of surgical APP experience. You will join a team of surgeons and APPs delivering high-quality pelvic health care across multiple Atrium Health

Qualifications

• 1+ years of surgical APP experience preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Must be approved to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
• NCCPA certification preferred for PAs.
• NC license required.

Responsibilities

• First assist in advanced pelvic surgery.
• Clinic for pre-ops, post-ops, and new patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons and APPs in gynecologic specialty.
• Onboarding/support by APPs and MDs.
