Job summary

South Suburban Park & Recreation District is hiring a Gymnastics Assistant to support gymnastics operations, supervise birthday parties, and assist with parent-tot programs and classes.

The position requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, six months of childcare experience, and coaching gymnastics. CPR/AED/First Aid and HEADS UP concussion certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• Six months of childcare, education, or related experience preferred
• Six months of gymnastics coaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with gymnastics birthday party program and supervise staff
• Assist with parent-tot programs and gymnastics classes
• Schedule staff and birthday party reservations
• Ensure safety and maintain program quality
• Support with marketing and communications for programs
• Provide coverage for various shifts including some evenings and weekends
