Job summary

South Suburban is seeking a Part-Time Gymnastics Instructor to teach children in a structured program. You will follow lesson plans, keep attendance, and provide progress reports while promoting healthy living and confidence. Immediate openings include parent-tot and recreational classes.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• AED/CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
• Concussion recognition training required and renewed annually.
• One year of experience in a structured gymnastics program through teaching, coaching or competitions preferred for recreational level classes.

Responsibilities

• Teach gymnastic instruction and follow developed lesson plans.
• Keep accurate attendance records and distribute progress reports.
• Evaluate and assess skill level and progress of participants.
• Work shifts ranging from morning to evening hours and weekends.
• Immediate openings to teach parent-tot and/or recreational level classes.
