Job summary

City of Plymouth invites applications for Gymnastics Lead for the School Year 2026–2027. In this part-time role, you will instruct and assist preschool and youth gymnastics programs in a safe environment, focusing on fun and inclusive experiences.

Programs run September through May, on Saturdays, with a requirement to work 3 of 4 Saturdays each month. Training is provided prior to the start date, and curriculum is supplied.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth.
• Must have gymnastics or dance experience.
• Must be 16 years of age by employment start date.

• No programs are held on holiday weekends.

• Provide support as needed for all participants and staff to create an inclusive environment.
• Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs for all ages.
• Follow staff policies and procedures.
• Ensure all staff and participants follow the established policies and procedures.
• Provide a safe, fun and appropriate experience of all participants.
