Job summary

City of Boulder is seeking a part-time gymnastics instructor to develop athletes within the city’s gymnastics program. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and effective communication with families and staff.

You will teach and spot skills, set up equipment, and contribute to curriculum and safety procedures while collaborating with coordinators and coaches. Flexible schedule, with supervision by a Program Supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience participating in or coaching in a formal gymnastics program or related experience.
• Experience working with children and/or teens.
• Must pass a background check before first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Teaches advanced gymnastics classes across preschool, recreation, team prep, and team programs.
• Teaches and spots higher level skills for girls' and boys' teams.
• Sets up equipment, maintains records, and communicates with parents.
