Job summary

The Little Gym of Kansas City-Prairie Village is looking for a warm and energetic instructor for our Parent/Child classes. This role involves leading engaging, high-energy classes for children aged 4 months to 3 years, while fostering a supportive environment for both kids and parents.

Ideal candidates will thrive in a fun and active atmosphere, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be ready to engage with families in meaningful ways. Pay ranges from $16 to $20/hour, depending on experience. Come be a part of our dynamic team!

At The Little Gym, we help children ages 4 months–3 years build confidence through movement, play, and connection—with their grown‑ups right by their side. We’re looking for a warm, engaging, and energetic instructor to lead our Parent/Child classes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging, high‑energy classes for young children and their caregivers
• Use The Little Gym curriculum to guide classes (we’ll train you!)
• Create a warm, welcoming environment where both kids and parents feel supported
• Coach parents on how to engage with their child during class activities
• Celebrate milestones and help little ones build confidence week after week
• Provide a top‑notch experience for families—we treat our members like family
