YMCA in Rancho San Diego, CA seeks a Gymnastics Coordinator to support the gymnastics department by managing safety, class scheduling and program delivery for children aged 2–17. In the absence of the Director, you will lead safety, staff coordination, and daily operations with a focus on inclusive, quality programming.
The role is part-time (about 15–18 hours per week) with coaching of Xcel team activities and weekend competition support.
The Gymnastics Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the overall success of the gymnastics department by managing key operational areas and delivering high-quality program. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of gymnastics classes and team practices for children, while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. In the absence of the Gymnastics Director, the Gymnastics Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for safety compliance, staff coordination, class scheduling, program delivery and collaborating with department leaders. The Gymnastics Coordinator also provides leadership in staff scheduling, training, and performance discussions, facilitates monthly staff meetings, and represents the gymnastics program at YMCA campaigns and community events.
