Job summary

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) is hiring gymnastics instructors to deliver age-appropriate instruction at Fairland Sports & Aquatics Complex. This part-time, seasonal role focuses on safe, engaging sessions for youth across recreational and competitive tracks, with opportunities to lead classes, track progress, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualified applicants are at least 16, with reliable transportation, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Combination of education, experience, or certifications relevant to gymnastics.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• USA Gymnastics certifications are not required at hire but must be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate gymnastics instruction
• Provide exceptional customer service to participants and families
• Maintain accurate attendance and track student skill development
• Communicate effectively with staff, participants, and parents/guardian
• Lead all scheduled classes in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized training environment
• Attend all required trainings, meetings, and program events
