The Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission is seeking part-time Gymnastics Instructors for Fairland Sports & Aquatics Complex in Prince George’s County. Join a dynamic team, teach recreational and competitive gymnastics, and help develop skills while maintaining a safe facility.

Ideal candidates will have experience teaching gymnastics, tumbling, or related sports, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to student growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Combination of education, experience, or certifications relevant to gymnastics.
• Preferred: Experience managing or supervising a gymnastics or recreational program.
• Previous coaching or instructional experience in gymnastics, tumbling, or related sports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate gymnastics instruction.
• Provide exceptional customer service to participants and families.
• Maintain accurate attendance and track student skill development.
• Communicate effectively with staff, participants, and parents/guardian.
• Lead all scheduled classes in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized training environment.
• Attend all required trainings, meetings, and program events.
