Job summary

Stafford County seeks a gymnastics coach to teach and coach intermediate to advanced routines. The role requires coaching across USAG levels, choreographing routines, and ensuring safety in all activities. Candidates should have years of hands-on experience and CPR/First Aid credentials.

Under general supervision, you will supervise staff, train athletes, and coordinate with the Gymnastics Coordinator. A high school diploma and USAG experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with several years of USAG participation/experience.
• Ability to teach and coach gymnastics skills across USAG levels.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and spotting techniques.
• Familiarity with program curricula and routine development.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and coaches gymnastics skills and routines for level 5 – optional gymnasts.
• Trains gymnasts in strength, flexibility, balance, endurance and coordination.
• Develops routines on all gymnastics apparatus; choreographs optional level routines.
• Instructs recreational classes and supervises facility area.
• Ensures safety precautions are observed in all activities.
